Hey! – Rob here
Your Daily Health Fix today is about …
Vitamin A
Why you need it: Supports eye health; helps trigger ‘good’ genes; crucial for healthy pregnancy and foetal development; essential in proper and efficient immune function; maintains healthy skin.
Common myth: Clever post war marketing and poor science led us to believe that βCarotene found in carrots, potatoes and kale were good sources of Vitamin A, but the body really needs Retinol(A) not βCarotene.
Try this: Small portions of liver (at least weekly), and eating quality eggs as a staple can help protect you from the dangers associated with Vitamin A deficiency.
. . . That’s it for this dose,
Until the next time – Stay Motivated!💪🏼
